This Route is the same distance as if you had followed the path between miles 7.1 and 10.2.  Just a little hillier to break up the monotony and to give your keester a bit of a rest.  

Riding a bicycle can be dangerous.
Cycle Path recommends wearing a helmet, obeying all traffic laws and riding within your limits.
Ride responsibly.

 

 

 

R.T. = Right Turn    L.T. = Left Turn
 

 

From mile 7.1 ( The Company Town, Eclipse, Dogtown - Take your pick)

At the intersection on the bikeway go away from the R.R. tracks.

Go one block  L.T. onto S. Johnson Rd.

S. Johnson becomes E. First St. in right bend
Go up a hill for about 1/10th of a mile.

E. First sweeps left and leads to a stop sign
Continue straight at the stop sign

At the next stop sign USE CAUTION (S. Plains Dr.) and go straight onto W. First
The Plains Public Library is on the left.

Continue straight at the next stop sign.

At the following stop sign R.T. onto Firehouse Lane

Go one block and L.T. onto Connett Rd.

Follow Connett past The Plains Elementary School  (on the right)

At the stop sign after the school R.T. onto Lemaster Rd.

Follow Lemaster down hill to the stop sign.
Continue straight at the stop ( across Poston Rd.) and continue on Lemaster

Lemaster will connect to the parking lot in Beaumont at mile 10.2 on the bikeway

 

 

From Beaumont a.k.a. Salina

Turn away from the river and get on Lemaster Rd. with the Dairy Farm on the right.

Follow Lemaster Rd. to the stop sign and continue straight (across Poston Rd.)

Go up the hill to the next stop sign an L.T. onto Connett Rd.

Follow Connett Rd. until you see the Plains Fire Dept. (on the right) and R.T. onto Firehouse Lane.

Go one block and L.T. onto W. First St.

Continue straight at the next stop sign.

At the next stop sign ( The Plains Public Library is on the right) USE CAUTION  (S. Plains Dr.) and go straight onto E. First.

Follow E. First through the next stop sign.

Continue on E. First St. down the hill ( USE CAUTION )

E. First tuns into S. Johnson Rd. as the road turns left.

Follow S. Johnson to the Old Company Store ( on the right )

At the store R.T. following the signs to the bikeway.
