These packages are designed to teach you to thoroughly service your bike. Wear appropriate clothing. Wear clothes that you won't mind getting greasy and don't wear a necktie.

Bikes should be relatively clean (free of mud and dirt). You may bring up to two friends to learn as well (add $20 per friend).
